Vial of L.I.F.E.
The Vial of L.I.F.E. is a place for an individual to store important medical information that emergency medical personnel need in a time of crisis. By completing the Vial of L.I.F.E. form, you can provide the emergency personnel with vital life-saving information, even if you are unable. You fill out the forms and place it inside the plastic vial. The vial is then placed inside the refrigerator. The Vial of L.I.F.E. kit is available free as a public service from your Ambulance and Fire Service, as well as Sibley County Public Health and Veterans Services. A Collaborative effort with Arlington, Gaylord and Winthrop Ambulance Services and Sibley County Public Health and Veterans Services, 1-800-LINKVET.

The St. George Parish of West Newton Township's annual Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 12. They will be serving their famous St. George Bratwurst and Roast Beef Dinner from 10:30am-2pm. Remembering with Dignity, Treaty Site History Center
The Nicollet County Historical Society is proud to honor those who died at Minnesota institutions. Join them in welcoming Remembering with Dignity to the Treaty Site History Center on September 11 from 12:30-4pm. Remembering with Dignity, a non-profit group with state funding, has been working hard over the past few years to identify and mark graves of state hospital patients.
September 11 Commemoration, Sleepy Eye
September 11 marks the 9th Anniversary of the attacks on the USA. The members of Sleepy Eye: Legion, VFW, Honor Guard and Auxiliaries, along with the Sleepy Eye Community, invite your business or organization to join them in commemoration by which they will honor and celebrate our service men and women of our country. The event will be held on Saturday, September 11, at the Sleepy Eye Servicemen's Club, located at 109 1st Avenue South and also on the street outside building. The Sleepy Eye Honor Guard will begin at 5pm with the flag raising ceremony, the 21 gun salute, and taps, followed by a chaplain invocation, moment of silence and welcoming introductions.

11th Annual Walk of Hope
Brown County Yellow Ribbon presents the 11th Annual Walk of Hope, 10am, Saturday, September 11, Allison Park in Sleepy Eye. Refreshments will be provided for walkers. This is a walk to raise awareness of mental health and the prevention of suicide in the community. We walk to remember those we have lost and those we can save.
German-Bohemian Heritage Society

Wii Bowling League

Senior men and women gather each Monday afternoon at 1pm to play shuffleboard. CAST has two courts at the Community Center. Join the fun and get a little mild exercise doing so.

Knitting for Seniors
Senior men and women are invited to learn knitting through CAST. Instructor Plyllis Kosbab will offer a 6 week class beginning October 14, meeting each Wednesday from 9:30-11 am. Class size is limited to 12, so call 354-3212 to register. There is no fee and materials will be provided.
Bingo for Seniors

Bridge Players Welcome!

Every Tuesday morning at 9 am you are needed to join the volunteers who gather at the New Ulm Community Center to make beautiful greeting cards. New volunteers are welcome...no skills required. CAST also welcomes all your old greeting cards to be recycled. Drop off those cards in the box outside the door at 600 N German, New Ulm.
